Dear Sirs,

We are in receipt of your letter of the 8th.inst. re Dynamo for "Goshawk", and in reply would advise you that to make this machine suitable for an earthed system would not entail any serious modifications, as all that would be necessary would be to remove the mica plate and insulating bushes from the negative brush holder so that the holder is bolted direct on to the end shield, and the negative on the terminal board will of course be unnecessary.

The sample machine which you already have by you is of the insulated type.
