LES See me HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} x5600. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} 4/G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 18.8.32. RECEIVED 20/25 HP. CHASSIS - SIDE SPARE WHEEL CARRIER BRACKETS. Certain customers are demanding bonnets extended almost as far back as the windscreen, and at the same time will not have spare wheels carried at the rear. This means, of course, that we are in difficulty owing to the horizontal stay which is to be fitted from the dash to the top of the spare wheel carrier bracket. We informed Sales that you were trying out an internal form of stiffening device, and they are now asking when we expect to be able to introduce the new scheme on production. If the new scheme which you have been testing out recently is satisfactory no doubt you will issue a standardisation sheet as soon as possible. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
