S/W. To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} +3317 Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}5/D26.7.34. Re: The Buick. I confirm conversation on the telephone to the effect that Lendrum & Hartman write to say that they have received a cable from America reading as follows:- "YOURS SECOND REFERENCE FORTYSEVEN/BUICK FOR ROBOTHAM ROLLS ROYCE CAN YOU RELEASE FOR SHIPMENT." I have told Mr. Berenstein, who is dealing with the matter in the absence of Captain Hartman, that we want to try a car of this type before we decide to purchase. He says he can let us try one next week. I have told him that you will call there to-morrow and fix it up. Please let me know what day you fix to try the car, as if I am free, I would like to go out with you on it. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
