r 1918.e Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Rm. {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 13/AD. November 21st, 1932. The K.L.G. Sparking Plugs Ltd. Robinhood Engineering Works, Putney Vale, London, S.W.15. Dear Sirs, We have now had an extended run on the Continent on your LKS.6 plugs. These have been running in a straight engine of 6/1 compression ratio. We find definitely that they are not hot enough for the job and are returning two to you that show obvious signs of pre-ignition. We do not want to go to the L.583 plug on standard engine and we should therefore be glad if you could submit something to us of an intermediate variety. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
