EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}8/JH. 12th August, 1938. 1247. Mead McLean & Co.Ltd., Grand Buildings, Trafalgar Square, LONDON.W.C.2. Dear Sirs, On both of our sets of ventilators we have had a failure of the brass hinge pin. As we previously mentioned this is not strong enough for the work required. We should be very glad if you could let us have a stronger lot made in steel, we shall require 4 for the 2 sets. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
