Herewith more detailed particulars of various parts we should like fitted to this chassis before it goes to France.

(1) Present production type 1° front axle, but incorporating 14" drums with water excluders to N.Sch.4370 to suit, and not as instructed by the D.O.

(2) Axle control to N.Sch.4178, in spite of the failures we have had during judders. The necessary parts to EX.13596 should accompany the car, so that GWH{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} can tell us the relative merits as regards steering shocks. Please make sure that the caster angle is the same with both arrangements.

(3) Lightened front hubs to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1738.

(4) Isolated gear levers EX.16646, incorporating N.Sch.4375.

(5) Petrol tank to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1783.

(6) Servo to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}19/KW.21.12.34 and Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FJH.{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}1/KW.9.1.35, incorporating cams to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1631 of 35° angles. Swinging arm to N.Sch.4314. Crinkly Plate to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1803.

(7) Front equaliser levers to EX.12676/7. Rear equaliser levers to EX.14670. Direct braking lever GB.685 increased to 2.500 CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation} (Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1801).

(8) Pendulum lever of 7.500 CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}

(9) Clutch exactly as recently fitted to B-5 unit.

(10) Propellor shaft damper to be set at 2 lbs at 17¼". and lightened to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1807.
This memo. is to supplement Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KW.15.2.35, and clear up instructions of some time ago.

(11) Balance weights to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1756/7 as instructed in Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}11/KW7.2.35 should accompany the car and be in balance on the crankshafts/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}
