W.A. Robotham, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Nightingale Road, Derby. Dear Mr. Robotham, As per my letter of Monday last, I herewith send details of Triplex and Aero glass. With reference to the Triplex toughened, these are the actual weights taken from glasses in our Works. The weight of Aero glass has been given us per square foot by Messrs. Triplex. On the three cars mentioned we have entirely ignored the windscreen and the division window, as Messrs. Triplex suggest that Aero glass would not be suitable for these purposes. For your information, Messrs. Triplex quote toughened glass weighing 2.6 lbs. per sq.ft. and Aero 1.5 lbs. per sq.ft. Trusting this is the information you require. Yours sincerely, for PARK WARD & CO. LTD. DIRECTOR. Enc. | ||
