X4646 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW. C. HK{Col. T. Harker - Sales}/G.WH. EFC2/T12.6.24. X.4357 - BATTERY IGNITION DISTRIBUTOR. Herewith we hand you a standard battery ignition contact breaker lever which you recently fitted with rubbing block of 'bone-grey' fibre. Would you kindly have this fitted to the distributor on aX&IX 9-PK, replacing the lever with the standard rubbing block, which we should like to be returned to us for examination. Would you also kindly have the lever temporarily removed from 6GII and fitted with a rubbing block of this material, for which purpose we again hand you the stick. A new lever will not do in this case, as we are running tungsten points, and wish to continue to run these points as an independent experiment. The lever from 6-GII should be handed to us for a few moments previous to putting on, so that we may take our own measurements in connection with the wear. EFC. | ||
