With reference to Mr. Hives' memo to me reference Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/L06.3.23, copy of which you have and also to our conversation. You promised to go into the question of the points raised by Mr. Hives in the first part of his memo, re Whistling Carburetters, with a view to issuing definite instructions on this matter.

We shall be glad to receive these instructions as soon as possible, as it will be seen from BJ's memo to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (copy attached) he has instructed that no further complete cars are to be delivered which have whistling carburetters.
