BENTLEY

1. Overdrive Gearbox and Modified Camshaft

It was agreed to issue standardisation sheets at once for the release of the overdrive gearbox, the IO/43 axle, Girling rear brakes and improved camshaft

On the question of the overdrive gearbox being introduced at the 51st chassis in "M" series instead of the IOIst, it was felt that this differs essentially from a similar request made by S. in relation to the P.III. The matter is being closely investigated and will be reported upon at the interim meeting on Monday next.

2. "NW{N. Walker - Patents}" Series Material

In view of the situation now as regards output, the Works are asked to state when it would be necessary to order fresh material for this series.

3. 6-B-IV

Reference was made to the engine stopping unless mixture strengthened in conditions of snow and ice. This matter was not regarded as a serious one to overcome and should only happen on very rare occasions.

BENTLEY III

1. The first car is already on the road and some modifications are now in hand for the springing, steering and other features as the result of the first test.

2. New Design of Bonnet Louvres

This has not progressed very far yet. By, however, has the matter in hand.
