X7770 Dep. c. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} E.A.C.VIII. BYLL/H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} 12.2.26. Referring to Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}8/M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} 10.2.26. whilst we have got the necessary number of designs to enable us now to complete EAC.VIII, there are three points which we require definite settlement upon before we can definitely fix up how all the details will have to be produced. 1. We require a scheme for dealing with the brake pedal offset to rod, and accelerator pedal stop. 2. A settlement of the question in regard to correct position of the dashboard in relation to the centre line of the chassis. If the position shown on the pedal scheme is correct, then it is apparent the dashboard casting will be seriously affected, but if the dashboard is O.K. then a new design of accelerator spring will be called for. 3. It will be necessary for you to settle the suggested modifications to front wing stay fixings and front cross member end socket, as submitted. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} P.S. Have just received N.Schemes 2141 & 2142, which will cover item 1. above. | ||
