To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}12/E2.5.38 - 2 - servo could not of course apply to Bensport and "Peregrine" but presumably would apply to J.III. I should like to have your recommendations on this. The last part of the telegram about transmission vibration presumably refers to correspondence with Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} relative to the fitting of a damper on the back of the gear- box. I am not clear what R.{Sir Henry Royce} really means by "regret departed from my impression" but doubtless you and Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} will be going into this matter and I shall hear something further. If, as I understand, you are at WW, I should be glad if you would let me know on the telephone to-morrow whether you could conveniently call here on your way back to Derby as I think we could usefully discuss some of these points and save time.
