To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} & PN.{Mr Northey} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to CJ. & BJ. X53 R3/M28.7.22. RE. FUEL X.53. X.1555 For demonstration purposes we recommend you to use or try the National Benzole Co's mixture which we believe is half Benzole, and half petrol. In my limited experience I have found this to be excellent for starting, slow running, absence of detonation and increased power. Naturally it may have some disadvantages such as the presence of sulphur corrosion. I am asking the Works to examine it, and if you cannot get a full supply, I think one can of this, and one can of petrol, say Shell No.1. would give very good results. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
