To Roy{Sir Henry Royce}:

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}16/KW.15.10.34.

Referring to G/Cam/CA.28/JM.{Mr Morley}2.10.34.

As far back as 27.4.34 we ordered two sets of Bentley pistons in RR.53 alloy, one set of which should have been free of charge in exchange for some we returned on May 5th. We are not sure whether we were ever credited with the returned pistons.

With regard to my note Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}14/KW.3.10.34, I have written to Mr. Brookes as per the attached letter, and hope he will agree to credit us with the 6, RR.53 alloy pistons for anodically treating.

We require three further sets of RR.53 pistons for the Bentley to the present agreed standard, i.e., similar to the pistons which he despatched to us on the 26th September. These pistons will have flutes in them which are machined.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
