Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}4/LG27.12.28. I should be glad if you would make a point of sending me a copy of all memos of this description.

Arising out of the copy sent to BJ. he has asked me to enquire from you the following :-

1. Can you now give us a list of parts on 18.EX. which it is believed will have to be modified before "SS{S. Smith}" chassis are put into Production?

2. A list shewing which of the same parts have been embodied in 19.EX?

3. How far it is contemplated 19.EX. will have run by, say, the 10th January?

4. How it is intended to test the altered parts for 10,000 miles before such parts are put into Production, as obviously it will not be possible for them to have run this distance by the 10th January.

5. What is the position, please, in regard to size of wheels? There seems to be some question of the wheels on 18.EX. not being the standard size. If this is the case, can you please give me the reason and tell me if correct size will be on 19.EX.

6. When is it proposed, please, to arrange for BJ. C. Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} and myself to see and try the car? It seems to me that the one we ought to see and try is 19.EX. which will presumably be the nearest to the one it is proposed to put into Production. The Administration must be given a chance of seeing and trying the car before the Board Meeting when the decision has to be taken.
