To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} X1698 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG7.5.27. VISIT TO WW. X1698 X3284 We have received your wire asking that we arrive at WW. on Thursday the [strikethrough] 12th. We have made arrangements to go to Cranwell Aerodrome on that day for the final arrangements in connection with the Karachi flight. The actual flight machine will go to Cranwell next week for a full load take off and test. Most of the petrol will be dropped in the sea before they land. If the test is a successful which we expect it will be, the machine will start on the actual flight any time after next Sunday the 15th. depending on weather reports. Unless therefore we hear from you, I propose postponing my visit to WW. until the following week. EFC. will be with you on Thursday. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
