EXHAUST BUTTERFLY THROTTLE.

We find that considerable loss of power and over-heating troubles are being caused by the exhaust butterfly throttle opening too late.

Attached is a sketch of a method whereby the exhaust baffle opens completely during the first half of the accelerator pedal movement, the latter then leaving it by means of a spring loaded lever.

We should like you to rig this up for us to try as soon as possible as we are anxious to recommend some alteration to those people who have already complained.
