(3) Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}9/JH.28.4.38. NOTE. This is a further memo. to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/CTS.{C. Trot Salt - Carburation}6/MH.{M. Huckerby}7.3.38. and it will be seen, that the suggestion is to have one complete scheme, using both mixtures controls and the automatic device at the same time. It is considered that in the long run, this will be the most economical way of arriving at our final requirements. It is essential that we should accumulate the necessary experience before going to automatic. It is also necessary to have a proper scheme available for 10,000 miles test.
