Dear Sirs,

re Electric Lighting & Starting Accumulators.

Further to our correspondence on this subject, we hope you have been able to get better capacity results from the battery submitted, and we think you will do so if you charge it towards the end of its charge at a good deal higher rate, something like 10 to 12 amperes for the last few hours, which is more like the charge it gets on a car.

If it is set up on test with a recording ammeter, we think you will obtain the full capacity. We shall be very interested to know how it behaves on the heavy discharge test of starting, and whether the results given under this heading are satisfactory.

We are very anxious to co-operate as far as possible on this subject, and so would be interested to have your further comments.

Yours faithfully,
PETO & RADFORD.
