ENGINE BEARER ARMS. -------------------- We must give particulars of the tube, i.e. a/- Length. b/- Inside diameter. c/- Outside diameter. d/- 3½% Nickel Steel. Spec.236. to Order Office on Monday without fail. We will machine and grind outside dia. of tube and taper it down on outside diameter in machining. Most necessary the Order Office have the above particulars. We should heat treat tube ourselves, - Brinell 249 - 277. This figure will give good fatigue resistance, but will not be too hard.
