To RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} 86021. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.14/JH.17.4.36. The battery fitted to 5-B-IV prior to the holidays has been scraped due to the container being cracked. The cracking was caused by the fitters tightening up the nuts unduly, forcing the screwed insert out of the moulding. Will you please instruct the people concerned to use a little more care and discretion in future as these batteries are expensive. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
