Will you please let us have an exact statement of how much money Butler had belonging to the Company when he left Paris.

The coffin arrived in Derby this morning. I have seen Butler's father and he is exceedingly grateful for your kindness and says that without your help he could never have possibly have got through.

I personally also wish to thank you for all you have done in connection with this sad affair.
