We have wired you to-day as per enclosed confirmation. N. had been instructed to fit the new switchbox and also one of the new Thermostat springs to this car immediately on their arrival from W., but at the time of writing there is no sign of them.

The car has to be taken over by St.{Capt. P. R. Strong} at W. to-morrow in order to enable him to fulfil certain appointments the following day in Lancashire. It is therefore hoped that immediately on arrival of the car to-morrow morning urgent steps will be taken to change the switchbox over and fit the stronger thermostat spring.

In the event of the switchbox having already been despatched by you, I will arrange for the car to call at N. to-morrow morning in order that it can pick up the parts.

I anticipate that the work entailed by the two jobs above will not run into more than a couple of hours.

WST
