800b. To HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH.{R. Hollingworth} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HFP.8/JH.21.8.39. 3.B.50. The following modifications should be carried out before this car goes to France :- Super-flexit pipes should be used for chassis lubrication on yoke. FB.4745 .4% carbon steel to BESA.S.76 roll rod modified for Harris bushes on connecting links. If this is not available FB.4744 should be modified. Harris bushes in roll rod connecting links. Tufnol interleaving in top 3 leaves should be replaced by Spaldite which should have holes punched as on 33.G.VII but should be lubricated with graphite grease.
