-2-

Our experience is that we suffer from very few punctures - usually when the tyre fails, the cover is destroyed. In the case of a punctured tube, this can easily be repaired at any Garage in a very short time. We consider that the two spare wheels should be sufficient for all ordinary purposes.

4. Hydrometer.

We think this is an essential instrument which could be left in the Garage.

5. Blanking plates and bolts.

These fittings could be left in the Garage, but as they take up so very little room, it does not count for much.

6. Mallet.

We are making enquiries in order to obtain a lead mallet instead of a wooden one. This will reduce the bulk of it considerably.

Attached herewith are our suggestions for tools to be carried for local and Touring runs.
