R.R. 235a (200 T) (S.F. 674. 22-5-19) G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} 2376. X.3725 Mr. Hives. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/AW2/W10220. 10th Feb.1920. Replying to your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG9220, we regret to advise you that although we instructed the Stores to despatch the rims referred to in your memo to the Dunlop Rubber Co Ltd., Coventry on the 4th inst., we find on making enquiries in the Stores this morning, that they have not yet been forwarded to these people. We are therefore, unable to give you any promise whatever regarding the Wheels in question. In view of the delay which has already taken place, I have arranged with Mr. Hare for a lorry to journey to Coventry this morning and take the rims in question and at the same time collect a load of forgings.
