E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}6/M.26.5.37. Re: SNOW CHAINS. In accordance with the minutes of the last coachwork conference E.1/HP.21.5.37, we have been asked to put on the Chassis Print of all our cars instructions concerning clearance between the tip of the front wing and tyre, in order to allow the use of snow chains. It has been resolved that we should specify a minimum clearance between the tyre and the nose of the wing of 1.5". The instruction should also add that this applies only to the special Rolls-Royce spring loaded type of snow chain which is now available. E/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} | ||
