X.4338. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT ON 3-GII.

Further to our EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 6/T20.3.25, and in answer to your EWT/HS {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} 3/T20.3.25, it is definitely necessary for the battery to be returned to us.

As regards the dynamo, the experimental feature consists only of having annealed copper commutator bars in place of ordinary hard drawn copper, and I do not think it will be necessary to change the dynamo. We would, however, like to receive a report on the general condition of the dynamo and brushes, as apparently we shall not have an opportunity of examining these ourselves.
