Dear Sirs,

For the attention of Mr. C.H.Brooks.

I have been informed this afternoon that you telephoned yesterday and could not get through to me and that you were enquiring about the finish we required on the recently ordered 3½ litre Bentley rings.

We actually require a ground finish and I was under the impression I had mentioned this in my previous letter.

I am sorry you could not get through to me yesterday but I am sure you will be able to in the future if you mention Experimental Dept. There happen to be two others of the same name and both have dealings with outside firms which makes it rather confusing at times.

Yours faithfully,

For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
