WATFORD EW6 MAGNETO

No.113864. Herewith we hand to you Watford EW7 magneto. This magneto is a specially obtained one of R.H. rotation for the S.S. engine, on which the magneto is on the other side. The magneto already on the engine is an obsolete EO6 type.

There is one point to note about the magneto, viz. that the rotor marking is [text struck through] for L.H., and is not correct for timing the engine. We have, however, written to Messrs. Norths to obtain their approval ourselves to alter this marking to a similar position on the other side of the centre line of the carbon brush. In the meanwhile the engine timing should be done without reference to this timing mark.

The machine is good for silence on the bench.
