Mr. Royce thinks that with our new type of springing, shock-absorbers may be unnecessary so far as the back axle is concerned.
He adds that when the springs are new and lubricated it may appear that shock absorbers are necessary, and when they are dry and not lubricated it may appear that we do not want them.
This should be made a matter of experiment.
