Standardisation of a reduced axle ratio for chassis parts to increase performance.

Experimental Test Report: The present axle ratio is 4.54 to 1 (11 X 50) The proposed ratio is 4.7 to 1 (10 X 47). It is not proposed to cancel the present ratio but the 4.7 will be an alternative. We are now using stiffer crankshaft on the 20 HP. which enables us to run the engine faster. Road Test Report: Run 15,500 miles on 10-G3 including 10,000 miles in France. Run 12,500 miles on 9-G3.
