Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}3/OH. and the items mentioned. Section 5210. No L.O.P. is available and we agree FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}/RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} should mock up. We will then produce a drawing and List of Parts for production purposes. Section 5250. Exhaust Fittings. No L.O.P. is available. Manifold has been designed and detailed. The proposed 1/2 scale lay out of the exhaust system has been produced-see PL.699. The front suspension link has been designed PL.272. The intermediate and rear suspension link which are similar to the front one still require to be designed. This is sufficient information to mock up an exhaust system. Section 5240. Controls. No L.O.P. available, and we shall have to produce a design as soon as possible. Section 5260. Bonnet. This is now on the Coach Work section and it is up to Messrs. Park Ward. All drawings are made. Section 6000. Flywheel and Clutch. As the extension to the first motion shaft RG.{Mr Rowledge}2588 is permanently pressed on to the Morris gearbox first motion shaft it definately has to go on to the gearbox section L.O.P. which is the normal procedure. Full information of the clutch and actuation is given on Section 6000 and 6010. Section 6181. Hydraulic Master Cylinder. No L.O.P. is available and we are to investigate to see if it is essential to have one. Section 7001. Wing Stays. The wing stays are on the Coach Work Section, and will be supplied with the wings. Section 7043. Front Brakes. No L.O.P. has been produced for this job, but we believe that all the necessary drawings have been done. We will produce a List of Parts as soon as possible. Section 7050. Steering. No L.O.P. has been produced for this Section. The Berman Douglas steering column is we believe the correct one. We are awaiting the steering wheel from Wilmot Breedon. | ||
