We have now taken some power curves
with the engine which we propose to fit the the Vulture.
This is the 8 litre engine of 6/1 c.r. The high
compression head happened to be fitted with large
inlet valves, these do not give us any appreciable
gain.

It will be observed that the R.R. carburetter
used is the latest large pattern to L.C.3432 and gives
us a gain in power over the present standard carburetter -
the present 5.25/1 c.r. engine gives about 165 B.H.P.
