As a result of our visit to WW:- we are making the following modifications to this car before sending it to Sales for them to approve as a model for the first EAC.11. chassis :- (1) Fit standard 40/50 HP. starter motor and switches. (2) Fit block type engine coupling - this is necessary because of (1). (3) Fit front silencer similar to 40/50 HP. when two sets of three exhaust manifolds are used - to reduce exhaust noise. (4) Latest type of controls to give more gradual opening by accelerator pedal, and to reduce friction on hand control. (5) Quieten engine gear noise. (6) Fix dashboard in a similar manner to EAC.11. We expect to have this car running again fitted with these modifications by the end of this week. Before we send this car to Sales we propose bringing it to WW. We will let you know when this will be. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
