X7300 BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} c. Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}12/KT.9.3.33. P.II. CLUTCH. Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} has complained of insufficient separation on the 40/50 clutch. This we find is due to excessive movement of the inner cushioning pressure plate. On the drawings its movement should be .010" but can be .030" if all the tolerances add up. We suggest this range be reduced from .005" to .015". Will you please instruct this for production as soon as possible. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
