S. Smith & Sons (M-A) Ltd. Telephone: Gladstone 3333 Telegraphic Address: Speedofac, Phone, London. Cricklewood Works, London. N.W.2. 6th February, 1941 W.A.Robotham, Esq., Rolls-Royce Ltd., D E R B Y. Dear Robotham, Thanks so much for yours of the 30th January which reached me upon my return from Birmingham this morning. I am sorry that the sample heater which we supplied in Mr.Steadman's time is not now available for the reasons indicated. It so happens that the American underseat sample which we tested was fitted to an American car but I am endeavouring to obtain the release of this and if I am successful will immediately let you have it. Regarding your observations concerning the blower, this is the one feature which has been tremendously improved and, although I have not had actual experience, I am assured that the new design is a very desirable unit. Sincerely yours, Charles Dmenob. | ||
