Test report on the performance of radiator shutters fitted with a thermostat and spring.

Hancock - Head Chateauroux}1/MJ. 8.9.30. x7250 Y3499 RADIATOR SHUTTERS. We have tried out the thermostat with a spring fitted to close the shutters on 25-EX. radiator. We find with the strongest spring (Initial load 19 lbs. Final load 22 lbs.) the shutters start to open at 69°C. and are full open at 70°C.
