The logic, therefore behind refusing to take an interest in increased ammunition in fighter aircraft, does not seem to be sound.

SUMMARY.

Are the more important people in control of aircraft production satisfied that the best possible use is being made of the only armament which can be available for the next eighteen months.

In particular, are schemes being tried out sufficiently, or are they being turned down on some-body else's opinion?

The aircraft designers are definitely of the opinion that many more of the schemes which they have produced should, and could, be tested out and judged by the people who will have to fly them.
