Mr. C.W. Nichols,
Messrs. S. Smith & Sons, Ltd.,
Cricklewood Works,
London, N.W.2.

Dear Mr. Nichols,

Regarding the Graham Paige speedometer we are afraid that it would be impossible to loan you the instrument at this stage as it is integral with the "instrument patch" and would mean holding up the car.

You should be able to get hold of one quite easily from Messrs. Cleverley's Ltd., 12, Berkeley Street, London, W.1., who are the Graham Paige agents.

We should be pleased to demonstrate the excellent damped movement of this speedometer to any of your representatives if they care to call at our Works by appointment, but of course this would not help you to arrive at the means adopted for damping.

Please pass this information on to Mr. Buckland for me.

Yours sincerely,
