X.2656 - BRUSHES FOR SELF STARTER MOTOR

We are handing you herewith 4 C.M.1. type (original marking) Morganite brushes. These are similar to four which we have found to give the best results (of the Morganite brushes) on the motor. Will you kindly have these fitted to one of the starter motors you are at present building up. We are urging delivery from the Morganite Co., of a few sets of these brushes in advance of the main order, so that we shall have some to fit to the experimental motors. We believe you are at present fitting C.C.4 brushes taken from experimental stock, which, of course, are made by the Le Carbone Co., We do not propose to use brushes made by the Le Carbone Co., but we are going to standardise brushes of the type now handed to you.
