Dear Sirs,

Thank you for your letter dated the 11th inst.

Will you please supply us with a set of four shock absorbers, Type 306 M, short, having 8" arms. The rear dampers require special plates and we are enclosing drawings showing what is required. The front dampers are quite standard.

These dampers are extremely urgent, so will you please inform us by return when they can be despatched.

Do you consider it more satisfactory to have star spring washers each side of the dampers. If so, please build these dampers with them.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
