The general condition of the first four cars recently received from U.S.A. can be classed as almost new and their price as given to us in letter from U.S.A. ref:- OY2/C30.10.20 is as follows:- Make of Car. Price at Springfield including transportation charges, war tax 5% and usual equipment. Approx: equivalent in pounds sterling at 4.80 to the pound. Due to the slump, the values of most cars are now dropping 10 to 20 per cent". X.435. The Packard condition can be classed as having had 12 months running. The other Buick as having been run 2 years.
