EAC.14 DIPPING HEADLAMPS. X.4555
X.1357

We send herewith N.sch.2490 shewing the
large Lucas headlamp mounted for dipping.

Particulars of the control will follow later.

In the meanwhile we should be glad if Derby
would make a drawing of the lamp with the trunnion fittings
and ball end bracket in place, to send to Messrs. Lucas & Co.
Ltd., in conjunction with an addl official order for two sets
of lamps embodying as many as possible of the improvements we
have asked for in our letters of the 22nd. inst.

It will be realised that these lamps will be
required in the course of a few weeks, and therefore the
instruction should be pushed as fast as possible.
