R.R.236 (500 Bks.) (S.F. 193. 6. 13.) M.P. [11281] 152 X.295 ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. INSTRUCTIONS. To: Mr Clark 13/2/22 Order No: X.295. Customer's No: --- Smith Dynamo Type 2D We have run this dynamo on the bench. It is very noisy at all speeds, electrically & mechanically. The mechanical noise comes from the armature which fouls on the pole pieces of the dynamo when the machine is hot. The cause is probably due to expansion of the armature & magnetic pull as the grinding can be stopped. Contd Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
