SrI/ET.8.8.39 - 2 - it is no good trying to solve our problems unless we are prepared to cut holes here and there and treat this body as a prototype, which it is. Before ending this memo, I should like to point out that I have recently been doing a lot of road work with my car (B.6.MR), and the springing of this car positively gives me the creeps. It is really painful to have to sit in such a car after having driven streamlined cars of our modern products. The springing on the Streamline is, in my opinion, for the type of work it is required to do, absolutely ideal. I will keep you informed of our progress. Yours sincerely, [Handwritten Signature] T.S [Handwritten Note] Hope you are having better weather than we are. your 'Chamberlain' is having refit by my desk! will send it over in a day or 2.
