Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letters of the 25th and 27th of last month.

With regard to the Ring Adaptor P.651, as you have no casting in stock we will make this item.

On looking at the dimensions given on P.650, it would appear that the filler now fitted to Mr. Hall's car is slightly larger. P.650 has a diameter of 4.1/32", which is 4.5/16" on Mr. Hall's car. Before making the adaptor ring we want to be quite certain that it will suit the correct filler.

The unfinished cap P.779 will be quite satisfactory for our requirements. This is being returned to you under separate cover to be completed.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
