X346 Exptl. Dept. Ha/Les.3/KW.31.12.35. 31st December, 1935. Messrs. Geo. Salter & Co.Ltd., West Bromwich, Birmingham. Dear Sirs, With reference to your letter of the 19th inst., we are despatching to you part of another spring G.83271 which has failed. This we also find is produced from Silico Manganese steel. Our experience so far shows that Silico Manganese gives good results provided that the finish of the spring is free from marks. We are still very anxious to have your specification of the material used for your springs. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
