Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}20/ML.12.4.40. CORNICHE BENTLEY. With reference to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/E.6.4.40. I think that the only way in which Park Ward's can complete a Corniche body would be for Paulin to come over and supervise the work. I understand from Sr. that he cannot do this as he is only on indefinite leave from the Army and consequently cannot leave the country. Ward and Giles are of course very much occupied trying to keep their factory full of war work and it is only by continuously worrying them that we are getting the current problems cleared up on the standardised type of coachwork. So far they have done nothing on rationalised limousine bodies and of course, the coupe is now waiting for their attention. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
