Re. Noisy Petrol Pumps.

I am enclosing a sketch of a simple modification to the top blade of the contact which cures noisy petrol pumps. Its functioning is to deaden the armature thud, in the same manner to that I have previously reported, but is much simpler and can be done in a few minutes. We are indebted for this investigation and cure, to the Paris Depot Electrician who I have had helping me on the subject. They should be quietened when hot as they become noisy after heating up.

Cricklewood and Kingsbury should be notified.
